5. Compatibility with EasyVFR 3

EasyVFR 4 runs on all major 64-bit operating systems. iOS/ iPadOS, Android, Windows and macOS. A minimum of 3GB of RAM is advised.

32-bit Android and Apple devices are not supported. A few cheap Android devices are known to be not updated to the 64-bit Android operating system. Also, there are some temporary compatibility issues expected when a new major operating system version is released. When a reliable EasyVFR 4 app is critical to you, always verify this page before updating your operating system.

At least compatible (but slow) are:

  • Huawei MediaPad M5.
  • Xiaomi Mi Pad 4.
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (except SM-T810). (slow)
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.

We see good results with:

  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, and higher.
  • Most modern high-end tablets and smartphones.

Honest advice from Tim: Looking for an 8-inch Android? Don't! There is simply no mature modern model available that can compete in quality, performance, sunlight readability and price with the iPad minis. When you do find a great 8-inch Android tablet, please share your experience with us so we can mention it here.
